LOCAL BRANCH BURSARIES
Educational bursaries are available from the Branch Poppy Trust Fund to the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Veterans who need financial assistance to pursue a post-secondary education (college, technical school, university).
Students may apply each year they attend a post-secondary institution. The bursaries are provided from the Branch Poppy Funds, which are held "in trust" so their dispersal's are strictly controlled and must meet the requirements set out in the Legion Poppy Manual.

Bursary Regulations Governing Ladies' Auxiliary Command Bursary Awards

The
Ladies' Auxiliary, Alberta-N.W.T. Command, The Royal Canadian Legion is offering a number of Bursary awards in the amount of $500.00 each.
These
awards are for Alberta and N.W.T. students entering their FIRST TERM of a certificate/diploma or degree in a University, School of Technology and Art, Nursing Program, or any
recognized College in Alberta and the NWT.
Students
must be graduates of Grade XII in the current year or previous and under the age of 21 years.
